Speaking up for the people of Merchiston


	Public Meetings We hold 8 public meetings a year, generally on the third Tuesday of the month. None in December, April, July or August. We take our meetings around the area to try to be close to you wherever you live at least once a year. And our thanks go to the venues - in particular the Churches who kindly have allowed us use of their halls for free. Dates and Venues for future meetings. Please put them in your diary. 2010 - 2011 Session No meeting in July or August 21 September 2010 - Eric Liddell Centre 19 October 2010 - St Michael’s Parish Church Hall 6 November 2010 - Merchiston Tennis & Bowling Club No meeting in December 18 January 2011 Eric Liddell Centre 15 February 2011 Merchiston Tennis and Bowling Club 22 March 2011 St Michael’s Parish Church No meeting in April 17 May 2011 Merchiston Tennis and Bowling Club – AGM 21 June 2011 Polwarth Parish Church Hall All meetings start at 7:00pm and conclude at 9:00pm We usually have a presentation with speaker(s) on a current topic or open discussion to start the meeting and this is followed by the Business Meeting with reports on Planning, Licensing, Neighbourhood Partnerships and Police crime reports - and any issues raised by you.
